Today was such an exciting day as I had breakfast with the duchess of Cornwall.
In celebration and to launch the Brilliant Breakfast campaign myself, 3 other young women and Brilliant breakfast founder Annouska Ducas MBE were invited to attend a breakfast hosted by the now Queen of Cornwall at Clarence House. We were served the most wonderful breakfast in a beautiful setting and it is a day I certainly, will never forget.
Very welcoming and kind, Her Majesty Queen Camilla listened to how the Brilliant Breakfast campaign helps women supporting women at the Prince's Trust. She took an interest in Farrow Friends, kindly complimented the work we do and commented on how important she realises it is to have support services for older people, this is why she has had a long standing involvement in Silver Line, a telephone support service for the elderly. Also in attendance was Frances Milner, Director of Fundraising & Marketing at the Prince's Trust who has become a wonderful friend and guide to myself.
I later interviewed with Good Housekeeping to talk with them about my experience setting up and running a business with the Prince's Trust, and how the Brilliant Breakfast is making a difference supporting young people like me to achieve the very best they can out of their interests and professional endeavours.
