Today I met with The Editorial who is celebrating the success of women business on international women's day. It was a privilege to be able to meet and share my experience of running my own business which has gone from strength to strength since I founded it in 2017. I also had the opportunity to discuss my recent competition win, where I was really luckily to win a years mentorship from Business Women and Former BBC Apprenticeship Judge Linda Plant.

I founded Farrow Friends after being inspired by my own experience looking after relatives who were struggling with dementia. My business helps to support elderly people to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible, while preventing people from becoming isolated by offering friendship and relational support through befriending and community support services. My services include (but are not limited to) shopping, travel, appointment chaperoning, cleaning and befriending. I was able to launch my business so successfully thanks to the help and mentorship of the Prince's Trust.

I felt completely lost before I found The Prince’s Trust, but now I’ve found my purpose in life. They put me on the right track, helped me to believe in myself and my business and gave me a helpful nudge in the right direction.

I’m was so thrilled and excited to be mentored by Linda Plant because she has so much experience in the business world. I’m more determined than ever to implement her guidance and grow my business so that I can move it onto the next level. It’s been such a fantastic experience – I’m really grateful.’
