I am thrilled to announce that my first founded business, Farrow Friends has been awarded the South Kesteven District Council Community Award for 'Best Contribution to the Community by a Business'! This honour was presented to us during a wonderful awards evening, where we enjoyed a delightful meal and celebrated the achievements of community heroes. We were also presented with a beautiful glass trophy, which we will cherish as a testament to the work we do.
This award recognises our commitment to the community, especially through initiatives like our 'Care Chair' winter campaign, the success of which has led to the launch of my charity organisation, Be The Silver Lining as part of my efforts to tackle loneliness in the local area. This, in addition to our normal care services that range from providing support at home, to creating meaningful connections has helped me to shape Farrow Friends in a way that continues to make a positive impact as a business that cares.
I am immensely proud of this achievement and grateful for the recognition. It inspires us to continue growing our initiatives and supporting those who need us most.
Thank you so much to my incredible team of staff, who work hard every day to help us deliver exceptional support to those who need it, and to everyone who continues to support us in our mission.
